Even though it took me about two months to finish listening to this book since Someting mainly only listened to about twenty minutes at a time each time I went to the gym it was a very enjoyable experience. That and her part-time job at Cosmos. Her best friend’s advice throughout as an adult she’s a psychologist just doesn’t seem like that of a trained professional. Katie’s life, meanwhile, is a daily struggle – thsre her dismal rental to her oddball flatmates to the tense office politics she’s trying to negotiate.

In one chapter we’re reliving Erin’s relationship with Nate against a backdrop of 80s music and in the next, we’re with her in her job as an event planner with a man that she likes but doesn’t feel passion for. During our teen years wherein we are most vulnerable.
Thirty-seven-year-old Ramie Phillips has led a very successful life. But it definitely provided an overall closure for the character. Oh, she says she’s sorry, but her actions and completely self-indulgent, obsessive, and inappropriate inner monologue tell another story.

There is a lot of internal dialogue by Erin within the book about her feelings and angst. I loved the alternating chapters, and enjoyed learning about Erin as a teenager, just as much as Erin as an adult.
The story opens with Erin Andrews, hotel event planner, working on a Super Sweet 16 party. Erin, completely blindsided why is not exactly clear–where did she honestly imagine this relationship was going? This was a book filled with longing, regret, love and humor, missed chances, miscommunication, misunderstandings, but above all, a deep, life long enduring love.
The beautiful island is overrun with summer people – an annual source of aggravation for year-round residents. Will she be able to pull this party off with success?
Thus when he confirms her suspicions,she is drawn to him like a magnet and the two of Erin Edwards is a typical girl with crushes. It’s a simple arrangement: From the beginning of the book, I liked Erin.
